The platform

Everything you need to run a streaming business

One platform, from the app your viewers open to the report you read on Monday morning.

Apps under your brand

Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, phones and tablets, with your logo, colors and intro. Profiles, parental PIN and sign-in on TV with a QR code.

One console for the whole business

Customers, plans, renewals, content and emails in one place, with metrics on sign-ups, revenue and retention.

A reseller network that sells for you

Prepaid or no-investment resellers, commissions and bonuses, balances and their own portal.

Payments, your way

A payment page with your own methods. You confirm each payment and the account renews.

Emails that bring viewers back

Welcome, renewal reminders and a weekly digest of what's new, sent automatically.

Delivery across several servers

  1. Your content servers

Where your catalog lives. Start with one.

  2. Vortex spreads the viewers

Each viewer goes to a server with room.

  3. Viewers on TV and phone

    They just press play.

If one server fills up, viewers go to another. Add servers as you grow, and move titles between them from the console.

How we handle copyright notices

Questions, answered

Do I need my own content?

Yes. Vortex is the technology; you bring a catalog you own or are licensed to distribute.

Do I need a technical team?

No. We connect your servers and set everything up with you; you run the business from the console.

Which devices do the apps run on?

Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, and Android phones and tablets running Android 7.0 or newer.

Who owns the customer relationship?

You do. Your brand, your prices, your customers and your data.

Can I add live channels?

Yes, your own channels or channels you are licensed to distribute, in the TV section of the app. No channel belongs to Vortex: each channel is the intellectual property of its owner, and the company that hires Vortex must hold the rights to every channel and title it publishes.
